Raider Volleyball returns to the Nutter Center

DAYTON - Wright State Volleyball returns to the Nutter Center Main Arena for nine exciting home & neutral matches this season, bringing the energy and atmosphere of championship volleyball to the biggest stage on campus.

The Raiders will play host to Santa Clara, Eastern Illinois, and Marquette during the Raider Invitational on August 28 and 29. The following week, the defending Horizon League Tournament champions welcome Western Kentucky, Ball State, and Dayton to the Nutter Center for the Tru by Hilton Beavercreek Invitational, September 3-6.

"Last season's opportunity to compete in the Nutter Center was a memorable experience for our student-athletes, fans, and community," said Head Coach Travers Green. "We are incredibly grateful for the record-setting crowds and the support of our program. We see this as an opportunity to continue expanding the event, create memorable experiences, and introduce more people to Wright State Volleyball. We look forward to welcoming fans back to the Nutter Center to experience high-level volleyball, support our student-athletes, and be part of the continued growth of our sport."

The Nutter Center will host a trio of games as part of the Raider Invitational. Wright State will open the regular season against Santa Clara on Friday at 6 p.m. Saturday's action will begin with the Raiders taking on Eastern Illinois at 1 p.m. before taking on Marquette later that day at 7 p.m.

Wright State will host a total of six games as part of the 2026 Tru by Hilton Beavercreek Invitational, with all four opponents facing each other in a round robin format. Action gets underway on Thursday, September 3, with a neutral site match when Ball State and Western Kentucky face off at 6 p.m. Friday begins with another neutral site match between Dayton and Ball State, followed by Wright State and Western Kentucky facing off at 6 p.m. Match play continues Saturday with Western Kentucky facing Dayton at 1 p.m. before Wright State meets Ball State at 4 p.m. The excitement culminates on Sunday, with a crosstown rivalry matchup between Wright State and Dayton at 1 p.m.
