Lynn Curylo was named the 10th head coach in Wright State softball history on October 29, 2010.

The 2015 campaign saw the Raiders win 21 of their final 37 games overall and remain in contention for first place in the Horizon League regular season standings until the final day of the regular season.  After dropping the opening game of the league tournament, WSU won four straight elimination games before falling in the championship game to host Oakland.  Four Wright State players received Second Team All-League honors in Hanna Floyd, Jess Gorman, Becka Peterson and Montana Wear while three were named to the All-Tournament Team in Gorman, Ashley Sharp and Honnah Susor.

In 2014, the Raiders went 11-5 to end the regular season as Wright State finished second in the league standings.  Four Raiders received All-League honors, including Jess Gorman to the First Team, Krystian DeWitt to the Second Team and Libby Pfeffer and Peterson to the All-Newcomer Team.  Wright State also received the honor of hosting the Horizon League Tournament and Gorman was named to the All-Tournament Team

A seven-game winning streak, two wins in the Horizon League Tournament and a win over Michigan State of the Big 10 capped the 2013 season as Kaitlyn Kite and DeWitt were named Second Team All-League.

In 2012, Kristi Boreing and DeWitt were selected Second Team All-Horizon League whie Gorman was named to the All-Newcomer Team.  Off the field, junior Colleen Schneider was named a Capital One Third Team Academic All-American by CoSIDA and was WSU's female recipient of the Dr. Carl Benner Award for the top grade point average by a junior or senior.

The 2011 season started with a championship at the Belmont/Hampton Inn-Brentwood Tournament as well as the Winthrop/adidas Invitational a few weeks later. The season was capped by six players being honored by the Horizon League as Louie Haney was named to the First Team, Mollie Berry, China Frost, Justine Shilt and Chelsea Archer to the Second Team and Archer and Kacie Rapshus to the All-Newcomer Team.

Prior to coming to Wright State, Curylo assisted with pitching and catching, outfield and offense at Illinois. In the two years that she was part of the coaching staff, the Fighting Illini posted a record of 74-25, including a 28-9 mark in the Big Ten. After the 2009 squad went 29-17 overall and 12-7 in conference, Illinois went 45-8 in 2010, 16-2 in the Big Ten, and finished second at the NCAA Columbia Regional behind Missouri.

Before going to Illinois, Curylo was an assistant at Tennessee State for two seasons. During her first season in 2007, the Tigers finished 35-23, the first winning season in the history of the program. In a four-year span, two at Illinois and two at Tennessee State, Curylo was involved with 125 wins.

Prior to her time at Tennessee State, Curylo was the head coach at Milikan High School in Long Beach, California, from 2001-06. She led the team to the CIF championship in 2005, earning Coach of the Year honors for the accomplishment.

Curylo has a connection with Horizon League softball history as she played for UIC from 1994-97, with the Flames a part of the Midwestern Collegiate Conference (now the Horizon League) the final three years. A standout outfielder, she was a First Team All-MCC selection in 1996 and 1997 and is currently fifth on the school's all-time list in triples with 12.

Curylo was part of the 1994 UIC squad that won 53 games and advanced to the College World Series. During her career, the Flames won 198 games overall and posted a league mark of 58-3.

Curylo earned her bachelor's degree in kinesiology from UIC in 1998.
