After serving as an administrative assistant during the 2010-11 season, Sara Vest is in her first year as the program's director of operations.

Vest, a 2006 graduate of Carroll High School, graduated from Western Michigan University in 2010 after a successful four-year career. The Dayton-area native played in 123 games, starting 44 while averaging 5.8 points and 3.7 rebounds and ended her career with the school's fifth most blocks ever at 86. She was a first-team All Ohio player at Carroll as a senior when she ranked as one of the top 25 players in the state.

Vest received a bachelor's degree in business from WMU and is currently working on a master's degree at Wright State. She is the daughter of WSU Hall of Fame basketball player Mark Vest and the older sister of sophomore basketball player Matt.
