The Wright State women's basketball team had four players score in double figures as the Raiders pulled away in the second half for a 67-51 Horizon League win over the Detroit Titans at Calihan Hall Saturday afternoon.

The Titans again went in front 23-22 on a Kandace Evans three at the 5:57 mark, but a Comisar three started an 11-3 run to end the half with the Raiders up 33-26.
The margin was still seven early in the second half before Wright State broke the game open with a 12-4 run over a six-minute span, including two Tyanda Hammock threes and one from Whitney Lewis, to extend the advantage to 47-32. WSU gradually built on the lead from there and was up as much as 63-40 on a Brittney Whiteside foul shot with 4:24 to play.
Both teams shot the ball well for the game as both were at 40 percent overall, but Wright State was also six of 18 from three-point range compared to three of 17 for the Titans. The Raiders also enjoyed a sizable edge at the foul line as they were 15 of 29 for the contest while Detroit was only six of 10.
WSU also held a 44-35 rebounding advantage, 20-11 on the offensive end, and forced 30 turnovers while committing 22, resulting in a 28-20 margin in points off of turnovers.
Whiteside led all scorers with 16 for the Raiders and added seven rebounds and five assists. Comisar chipped in 15 off the bench while Lewis and Hammock each had 10.
Evans paced Detroit (4-15, 1-5 Horizon) with 13 points while India Bruster posted a double-double of 10 points and as many rebounds. Sandi Brown added 10 points.
