Results

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Wright State men's tennis team closed out their 2008 campaign on April 26 and 27 at the 2008 Horizon League Tennis Championships. The Raiders fell in their opening match to Green Bay, 4-1, and dropped their final match against Valparaiso, 4-3.

In the opening match, the Raiders lone point came via a Nick Camilleri victory at the #2 singles position. The junior captured a 6-3, 6-0 victory over Mark Goldin or Green Bay.

In the match against Valparaiso, the Raiders dropped the all important doubles point and split the six singles matches to fall to the Crusaders, 4-3. Camilleri remained unbeaten against Horizon League foes this season with a 6-2, 7-6 victory over Mike Shideler.

Landon Neuman collected his third victory of the season with a 6-4, 6-0 triumph at the #3 position, defeating Mike Wagner. The third victory came at the #6 singles spot and Jan Alafriz. The freshman posted a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Valpo's Kyle Stump.

The Raiders closed out their season with a 2-21 overall record and a 2-4 mark in Horizon League play under first year head coach Nate Reinhart.
