The Wright State women's basketball team claimed a 64-46 victory over Milwaukee at Sinclair Community College to sweep the season series with the Panthers for the first time since 1996. A 32-12 run over the final 10 minutes proved the difference in the contest.

Each team led during the first nine minutes of the first half, with neither team leading by more than two points, before UWM took a 34-32 lead with 10:47 remaining. That was the last lead of the game for the Panthers (9-12, 4-6 Horizon) before WSU went on a 15-0 run over the next four minutes to gain control at 47-34.
The Green and Gold extended their lead to 60-40 when Molly Fox converted a layup at the 3:29 mark. The Panthers outscored the Raiders to close out the game, but the spurt was only 6-4, to cap the scoring at 64-46.
Thomas scored 20 points in the contest, marking her eighth career game with 20+ points, and added four steals in the game. Fox chipped in 13 points and six rebounds while Ward added nine points with seven assists. In the game, WSU shot 54 percent from the floor in the game and were 11 of 15 from the charity stripe.
The Panthers were limited to 32 percent shooting in the game and turned the ball over 25 times, but outrebounded WSU, 30-27. Lindsay Laur led Milwaukee with 14 points and Sami Tucker grabbed a game-high eight rebounds.
