Wright State shot 41 percent from the field in the opening 20 minutes, but hit just three of 15 three-point attempts, while Green Bay shot 39 percent overall and connected on seven of 13 from behind the arc.
After the Phoenix hit a three and Justin Mitchell answered with a layup for the Raiders to start the second half, Green Bay tallied the next eight points to go up 46-32.
Another 8-0 burst pushed the margin to 58-38 with 11:57 to play and WSU would get no closer than 16 the rest of the way.
The Phoenix shot 42 percent for the contest, including 14 of 27 from three-point range, and made 16 of 23 free throws while the Raiders shot 39 percent overall, hit seven of 27 threes, and were just four of nine from the foul line.
Grant Benzinger led WSU with 14 points and added six rebounds and three assists while Mitchell had 10 points, seven boards and five assists.
Warren Jones paced Green Bay (11-6, 5-0 Horizon) with 19 points off the bench while Charles Cooper had 16 and Khalil Small 11.
Wright State (11-7, 2-3 Horizon) wraps up the Wisconsin trip on Saturday, January 14, with a 3:00 Eastern contest at Milwaukee.
