The Panthers, though, hung close the rest of the half and only trailed 30-27 at the break after Jeremy Johnson connected on a three in the final minute.
WSU shot 37 percent from the floor in the opening 20 minutes compared to 35 percent for UWM.
Cody Wichmann drew Milwaukee to within two on an early three-pointer in the second half before Wright State answered with a 12-2 run to go up 44-32, five of those coming from Alstork.
The Panthers again chipped away at the deficit and only trailed 55-50 with 6:38 to play until the Raiders put the game out of reach with another 12-2 burst, capped off by a Davis dunk with 2:51 remaining.
WSU hit 16 of 26 shots after halftime, including seven of 10 from behind the arc, and made seven of nine free throws while UWM made 15 of 30 shots, but were just five of 15 from three and three of six at the foul line.
Alstork led all scorers with 22 points while Benzinger had a monster game with 21 points and a career-high 19 rebounds. Davis chipped in 14 points, Mike La Tulip 11 and Justin Mitchell had seven assists and seven rebounds to go with six points.
Wright State (16-9, 7-5 Horizon) closes out the three-game homestand on Saturday, February 11, with a 7:00 contest against Green Bay.
