The Raiders and the Panthers battled to a 0-0 tie at the end of the first half on a very back and forth, highly competitive match-up. Milwaukee ended the half with five shots compared to three by Wright State with only three combined shots actually on goal.Â
Second Half Highlights
The Raiders jumped on the board first with a goal by junior midfielder
Mattie Cutts in the 52
nd minute of the match, assisted by forward
Aaliyah Patten. The goal was Cutts second of the season and only the third goal allowed by the Panthers this season. Before fans stopped celebrating the Raiders goal, Milwaukee quickly returned the favor to tie the match at 1-1 with a goal by Aubrey Krahn. With less than nine minutes remaining in the match, Milwaukee strikes again with a goal to seal the 2-1 victory for the Panthers.Â

With the Raiders facing a senior-laden Panther team, head coach
Pat Ferguson said, "I thought we played very well for 89 minutes and 40 seconds. Unfortunately, those 20 seconds cost us the match."Â
