Quote from WSU head coach Brian Arlinghaus:Â
"The team will be coming off an 18-day competition break when we head to the Tom Tontimonia Invitational hosted by Cleveland State.  The tournament has been moved to Lakewood Country Club from Barrington Country Club, and we're excited to play an event on this great A.W. Tillinghast design.  CSU has a good field and it will be a nice chance to compete against five of the teams from the Horizon League plus other good teams. We're well rested, and the guys have been putting in good quality time with their schoolwork and golf to prepare for the final three weeks of our fall season."
Â
"Junior Austin Schoonmaker is off to a great start averaging 71.75 this fall.  He has put in so much work over the last two years mentally and physically it's really a fun time to see it paying off. I really do feel like he's just scratching the surface of his abilities. We've had some great growth as a team in the first half of this fall season and I'm looking forward to seeing how much growth we can have as a team and as individual players before our fall season is completed."
