
Raiders look to continue win streak on the road at Charlotte Tuesday

The Raiders are coming off of their seventh straight win, a stretch in which they have won their games by an average of 16.8 points. Tuesday's game in Charlotte is scheduled for an 11:30am tipoff.
Wright State
The Raiders, 8-3, travel to North Carolina fresh off of a trouncing of Kentucky State in the Nutter Center. In their win against the Thorobreds, freshman Anisja Harris took over the game with her play from behind the arc. Harris was able to get eight of her twelve shots to drop to give her 24 points in the game. The Raiders flexed their depth in the game with 40 points coming from players off of the bench. Two additional Raiders scored in double-digits with Michal Miller adding 18 points, 12 of which came from deep, and Mackenzie Taylor added another 10 points.
The Raiders have three players averaging double-digits. Mackenzie Taylor leads on offense with 11.8 per contest, Michal Miller is close behind with 11.5, and coming off the bench Angel Baker is averaging 10.4 points per game. Tyler Frierson is continuing to do her work in the paint where she is leading the team in rebounds, hauling in 10.0 per game.
Charlotte
The 49ers, 5-3, are coming off of a 40-57 loss at Mercer on December 8th. A strong 19-point first quarter by the Mercer Bears kept the 49ers out of striking distance for the remainder of the game.
Charlotte is led by Jade Phillips who leading the 49ers in both points per game, 15.0, and rebounds, 7.6. Laia Raventos adds another 9.8 points per game and also comes away with 2.25 steals each outing for the 49ers. In their last game against Mercer, the senior guard Raventos joined the 49ers 1000 Point Club.
