Raiders Come up Just Short at #20 Green Bay

Wright State falls 75-68 to Phoenix

The Wright State women's basketball team had a back and forth game at #20 Green Bay before falling 75-68 Saturday afternoon as the Raiders led by as much as eight points late in the first half.

Senior Chelsea Welch led both teams with 24 points, seven rebounds, four assist and four steals while Mackenzie Taylor ended with 17 points, including four threes.

The Raiders are now 16-8, 7-5 as the Phoenix jump to 21-2, 11-1.

  • The Raiders kept it close after the first quarter as Green Bay led 19-18 while Taylor had six points from two threes.
