The Wright State men's basketball team continues its longest stretch of road games this season when they travel to Youngstown State Thursday for a 7 p.m. tilt.  The game can be seen on ESPN+ and heard on Big 106.5/iHeart Radio with Chris Collins and Jim Brown.

Wright State
The Raiders, 8-10 and 2-3, are coming off a 68-64 loss at Northern Kentucky last Friday night.  It marked their seventh loss by seven points or less. Three Raiders scored in double figures, led by Loudon Love with 16, Mark Hughes with 14 and Cole Gentry with 12.  Love, Hughes and Alan Vest each grabbed a team-high six rebounds.  Gentry hit his 31st straight free throw, going 29 for 29 in league play from the line.

On the season, Bill Wampler leads the squad at 14.7 points, coming off the bench.  He has made 40 threes overall, shooting 34% from behind the arc.  Gentry is averaging 14.3 points with 38 threes and 67 assists in 18 games.  Hughes is averaging 10.2 points.  Wright State leads the overall series 45-12 and has won the last three meetings.  WSU has won four straight at the Beeghly Center.

Youngstown State
The Penguins, 6-13 and 2-4, have won two of its last three games, at Milwaukee 76-51 and at IUPUI 82-76.  YSU also took the Phoenix to overtime in Green Bay before falling 99-93.  Youngstown State's 25-point win over Milwaukee was the largest margin of victory in a true road game in YSU's Division I era (1981-82).  It's also the largest margin of victory in a true road game since 1979 (39) at Ashland.

YSU has used 16 players this year with 10 seeing time in the starting lineup.  Wayne High School graduate Darius Quisenberry leads the team in scoring with a 12.4 points per game average with Garrett Covington at 11.6.  The Penguins lead the Horizon League in rebounding at 40.3 per game and rebound margin, grabbing 4.5 more than the opposition.  Naz Bohannon ranks second in rebounding at 9.1, a spot ahead of Wright State's Love at 8.4.  Bohannon was selected to the preseason second team as the Penguins were voted to finish ninth.
