The Wright State women's soccer team found through 90' but were handed a 3-2 loss on Friday Night from the Cleveland State Vikings at Alumni Field.
The Raiders fall to 10-5-2 overall and 5-4-0 in Horizon League play, while the Vikings improve to 6-8-3 overall and 4-4-1 in Horizon League action. Â
Cleveland State's Grace Krosky connected with the crossbar for the Vikings 9' goal and the first of the contest. The Vikings increased their lead in the 47' by way of an Essence Canady goal, this one off the crossbar as well. Wright State's
Jordyne Helinski cut the Vikings lead in the 57' as she connected on a pass from
Sydni Callahan. A Cleveland State goal in the 66' by Grace Grant increased the Vikings lead to 3-1. The Raiders'Â Helinski scored her second goal of the evening cutting the lead once again in the 74' but ultimately, the match ended 3-2 in favor of the visitors.
