Raiders face first road contest of 2019-20 season

The Wright State women's basketball hits the road for the first time this season and their third game of their 2019-20 campaign. The Raiders are set to face-off against the Musketeers of Xavier, Saturday afternoon. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m.

The Raiders are coming off a 65-60 win against CSU Bakersfield inside the Nutter Center Tuesday Night. Two Wright State players finished the night with double digit scoring efforts as Michal Miller led the team with 20 total points and redshirt sophomore Alexis Stover recorded his first double-double as a Raider, providing 18 points and pulling down 10 rebounds.

With the win, the Raiders improve to 1-1 on the season and the Roadrunners fall to 2-3 overall.

Saturday's meeting marks 22nd time in program history that these two programs have met on the hardwood but the first time the two have met since 2013. The Raiders hosted the Musketeers in the Nutter Center and walked away with a 79-54 victory over Xavier. Ultimately, the Musketeers hold a winning record of 12-9 against the Raiders.
