Four Raiders finished with double-digit scoring nights as the Wright State women's basketball team secured an 86-74 victory over Xavier in their first road contest of the 2019-2020 season Saturday afternoon.

Wright State now gets set to head south for the FAU Thanksgiving Tournament where they will face Kansas on Friday, November 29 at 12:00 p.m. and either FAU or Loyola on Saturday, November 30.

Tyler Frierson led the scoring efforts for the Raiders with 18 points and 10 rebounds, to record her first double-double of the season. Sophomore
Angel Baker added 17 points, while
Michal Miller recorded 14 points, respectively. Redshirt freshman
Shamarre Hale made her presence known on the court, recording her first double-double of the season, with 10 points and 13 rebounds.

As a team, the Raiders finished the night shooting 50 percent (35-for-69) from the floor while also hitting 60 percent from the line (12-for-20). Wright State outrebounded the Musketeers 47-33 while forcing Xavier into 19 turnovers.
Despite only winning two of the four quarters, the Raiders held the Musketeers to just 13 points in the third quarter while they secured 32 of their own.
