
Ernsthausen, Wampler Named to All-Academic Team

Ernsthausen Honored for Second Time
Senior Parker Ernsthausen and junior Bill Wampler of the Wright State men's basketball team have been named to the 2019 Horizon League Men's Basketball All-Academic Team, conference officials announced today.
Ernsthausen, who also received the same honor last year, will graduate with a master's degree in Accountancy this May. Ernsthausen has played in all 29 games for the Raiders this year while starting in 25, averaging 4.9 points and 3.1 rebounds.
Wampler, who is playing his first season with the Raiders, is a management major. The Eau Claire, WI native has played in all 29 games this year with an average of 14.7 points, shooting 35% from three-point range.
The team is voted on by each school's Faculty Representative. The Horizon League recognizes student-athletes with seasonal Academic All-League Teams in each of its 19 championship sports. To be eligible for Horizon League All-Academic consideration, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.20 or higher (based on a 4.00 scale) and have completed at least one year at the member institution, having earned 24 semester-hour or 36 quarter-hour credits.

Wright State, 18-11 and 14-2, are currently in first place and will end the regular season Thursday at Green Bay and Saturday at Milwaukee. The Raiders will host the first round of Little Caesars Motor City Madness Tuesday at 8 pm, following a women's quarterfinal game at 5:30 pm. Tickets for both games can be purchased here or call 937-775-4934 for more information. The winning teams will advance to the semifinals and finals to be held at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit March 11 and 12.
