The Raider golf team, hosting the Wright State Invitational Sunday, played only one round due to rain on Sunday. WSU is currently tied for second at Heatherwoode Golf Club in Springboro, OH.
The Raiders are at 365, tied with Green Bay and three strokes off of first-place Wittenberg. Freshman Cole Corder leads WSU in third place at 69.
"I am pleased with the way we played as a team today in some really difficult conditions. The wind was blowing 15-20 mph when our team got to the really difficult part of this course (15-18)," WSU head coach Brian Arlinghaus said. "The guys have put themselves in a position to win yet again. We keep knocking on the door and pretty soon we're going to kick it in."
The final round will be played Monday, starting at 9:00 AM.
