SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- Kyle Rechlica is in her eighth season at the helm of the Milwaukee women's basketball program. Rechlicz has quickly led Milwaukee back to a place of prominence and seemingly completely rewritten the record book, headlined by trips to the postseason in each of the last four seasons, racking up a combined 77 wins over that duration - the most wins in a four year span in the program's Division 1 history.
- Over the last eight games, Milwaukee is 86-116 (74.1 percent) from the free throw line, which would put them second in the Horizon League in conference play. Milwaukee is shooting 72.2 percent from the stripe this season, over 50 points better than last year's mark of 66.8 percent.
- The Panthers had a hard time finding a rhythm offensively in the second half on Thursday night, scoring just 15 points after the break in a 60-37 loss to Northern Kentucky. The Panthers shot 16 percent (4-for-25) in the final 20 minutes at the BB&T Arena. Milwaukee is currently 7-14 overall and 4-6 in Horizon League play.
