
Jada Roberson named Horizon League Freshman of the Week

Wright State women's basketball freshman Jada Roberson has been named the Horizon League's Freshman of the Week, the league announced on Monday afternoon.
Freshman Jada Roberson tallied 16 points in the Raiders 91-41 victory over Youngstown State on Saturday afternoon. Roberson pulled down three rebounds (one offensive, two defensive), provided five assists and recorded two steals for Wright State.
Through two games the freshman averaged 11.9 points per game, including a career high against Cleveland State (17 points). Saturday's contest marked just the third time Roberson has finished in double-digits but her second consecutive game.
The Raiders are 8-7 on the season and 3-1 in Horizon League action. Wright State will head to the Windy City to take on the UIC Flames on Thursday, January 9 before heading to IUPUI on January 11.
