			The Wright State women's basketball team tallied its sixth consecutive Horizon League victory in convincing fashion, as they handed Robert Morris a 58-48 loss inside the Nutter Center Friday afternoon.
The Raiders are now 8-3 overall and 8-1 in Horizon League play, while Robert Morris falls to 0-7 overall and 0-7 in conference play.
Wright State was first on the board by way of a 
Jada Roberson's jumper but Robert Morris answered shortly after, to tie the contest at 2-all.  Robert Morris took its only lead of the contest with 6:45 in the first quarter, as Ester Castedo's layup gave the Colonials a 7-6 advantage, before 
KK White's jumper took back the lead for the Raiders. The second quarter was a back-and-forth battle, seeing the Colonials fight and the Raiders head into the locker up just one at halftime, 26-25.
Angel Baker's three-pointer coming out of the halftime break gave Wright State the momentum it needed for the remainder of the contest. Robert Morris looked to cut the deficit as they came within five of Wright State in the final minutes of the third quarter, but it wouldn't be enough.
Jada Roberson and 
Angel Baker both tallied a game-leading 12 points, while 
Tyler Frierson's 13 rebounds were a game-high. Baker's 12 points marked her seventh-consecutive double-digit outing for the junior.
Roberson finished the contest 6-for-7 from the field and pulled down four rebounds for the Raiders, while Baker ended the afternoon 1-5 from beyond the arc, with four assists and two steals in 27 minutes of action. 10 of Frierson's rebounds came on the defensive side, while she also tallied eight points going 4-for-5 from the field and recorded two blocks for Wright State.
The Raiders shot 42.9 percent for the game, while the Colonials shot 30.8 percent for the contest. Wright State tallied 16 points off Robert Morris' 20 turnovers, while RMU tallied just 10. The Raiders outscored the Colonials 34-22 in the paint.
Wright State won the battle on the boards for the 10
th consecutive contest, out rebounding Robert Morris by just three, 39-36 overall. The defensive battle on the glass was close as Wright State pulled down 25 rebounds to RMU's 23. The offensive side of things was just as close with the Raiders inching out the Colonials by just one rebound, 14-13.
