The Wright State women's basketball team tallied their seventh consecutive Horizon League victory on Saturday afternoon, in a hard fought battle, to sweep Robert Morris 58-51 as four Raiders tallied double-figures.
Wright State is now 9-3 overall and 9-1 in conference action, while Robert Morris falls to 0-8 overall and 0-8 in Horizon League play.
Robert Morris was first to score after three-plus of minutes of scoreless action, as Sol Castro's jumper broke the score line. 
Shamarre Hale tallied the Raiders first points of the contest, followed by an 
Angel Baker's lay-up leading the Raiders into a 12-0 run over a four minute period to end the first quarter. The second quarter saw back-to-back action and the contest tied twice before Wright State's layup with 35 seconds before halftime gave the Raiders a two-point advantage heading into the locker room.
The third quarter, much like the first, saw three minutes of scoreless action before Robert Morris went on to outscore Wright State 12-10 overall, including a 6-0 run over a 31 second period, to end the quarter tied 37-all. Wright State would strike first in the fourth quarter, giving them the momentum they needed for the remainder of the contest as they went on to outscore the Colonials 21-14.
Tyler Frierson tallied a game-leading 13 points for Wright State, while 
Shamarre Hale and 
Angel Baker both provided 11 points for the Raiders. 
Jada Roberson turned in her second career double-double tallying 10 points and a game-leading 12 rebounds.
Frierson finished the contest 6-for-8 from field while pulling down eight rebounds as Baker had a team leading three assists, two steals and nine rebounds. Hale pulled down seven rebounds, finishing the contest 5-for-6 from the field. Roberson tallied a 5-for-6 free throw outing for the Raiders and pulled down a game-leading 12 rebounds.
The Raiders shot 38.2 percent for the game, while the Colonials shot a close 32.8 percent for the contest. Robert Morris tallied 24 points off Wright State turnovers, compared to Wright State's 13.The Raiders outscored the Colonials a close 26-20 in the paint.
Wright State won the battle on the boards for the 11th consecutive contest, out rebounding Robert Morris 52-30 overall. Wright State won the defensive battle on the boards, pulling down 36 rebounds to RMU's 24. The offensive side of things side Wright State pull down 16 to the Colonials 6.
