Box Score The Wright State women's basketball team recorded its fifth consecutive Horizon League victory in convincing fashion as the Raiders swept Cleveland State, 64-46 Saturday afternoon on the road.
The Raiders are now 7-3 overall and 7-1 in Horizon League play, while Cleveland State falls to 2-4 overall and 2-4 in HL action.
Wright State was first one the board as
Angel Baker's layup just: 30 seconds into the contest gave the Raiders the momentum they would need. The Raiders continued the energy and went on a 7-0 run over the first three minutes and twenty seconds of the contest, holding the Vikings to just four points over the 10 minute period.
Cleveland State looked to answer in the second quarter, tallying 17 points just two shy of Wright State's 19 to head into the locker room down 34-21. The third quarter saw back-and-forth action, as the Vikings looked to cut the deficit. Much like the first, the fourth quarter saw Wright State take control allowing just nine Cleveland State points in 10 minutes.
Junior
Angel Baker tallied her sixth consecutive double-digit game (eighth overall), as the Indianapolis native tallied 15 points and a team leading six assists, while
Jada Roberson added 10 points for Raiders.
Baker finished the contest shooting 6-for-15 from the field and a perfect 2-for-2 from the line. Roberson went 4-for-10 from the field and a perfect 2-for-2 from beyond the arc, while also pulling down four rebounds and tallying a game-high four steals.

KK White each recording a team leading eight rebounds for Wright State.
The Raiders shot 33.8 percent for the game, while the Vikings shot a close 31.9 percent for the contest. Wright State tallied 14 points off turnovers, while Cleveland State recorded 10. The Raiders outscored the Vikings 26-18 in the paint.
Wright State won the battle on the boards for the ninth consecutive contest, out rebounding Cleveland State 46-38 overall. The defensive battle on the glass saw a rare occasion, as the Vikings pulled down 27 rebounds to the Raiders 25. On the offensive side, Wright State pulled down 21 rebounds to Cleveland State's 11.
