CLEVELAND – The Wright State women's soccer team tallied its second straight win on Saturday night with a 2-1 road victory at Cleveland State. The Raiders win was their third of the season away from home, and improves them to 2-1-2 in Horizon League play.

Wright State (4-5-3, 2-1-2 HL) opened the scoring in the 26th minute on an Olga Massombo goal before doubling the advantage early in the second half when Maddie Mitchell found the back of the net off an assist from Lauren Borchert in the 53rd minute in what proved to be the match winner.

Cleveland State (1-8-1, 1-3 HL) dropped its third straight contest, despite outshooting the Raiders 14-9. Wright State finished with four shots on frame, while the Vikings recorded five attempts on target. Cleveland State's lone goal came in the 84th minute off a Rylee Bussen score.

Three Raiders paced the offense with two shots each, as Mitchell, Josie Krupp and Madison Keller all tallied a pair of attempts, while Massombo's goal came on her only shot. On the other end, Wright State keeper Jessika Seward finished with four saves, including three in the second half.

Wright State is back in action on Thursday night when the Raiders return home for a matchup with Detroit Mercy. First kick at Alumni Field is set for 7 p.m. and the match is expected to be streamed on ESPN+.
