College Sports Madness names Baker its HL Player of the Week

DAYTON – Wright State junior Angel Baker has been named the Horizon League's player of the week by College Sports Madness, the publication announced Monday.

Baker led the Raiders to a pair of wins at Purdue Fort Wayne this past weekend, turning in 21 points on Friday before a season-high 24 point performance on Saturday afternoon. Baker added eight total rebounds while also tallying her 1,000th career point on Friday afternoon. Â Baker is averaging 14.4 points per game and has scored in double digits 12 times this season, with three on those being 20-plus point outings.
Wright State is back in action this weekend at home on Friday and Saturday against Milwaukee.
