Wright State women's basketball head coach Kari Hoffman announced the transfer of Edecia "Deesh" Beck to attend Wright State Univeristy, Thursday afternoon to join the Raider program beginning in August. Â
Beck, a 5'9" forward, comes to Wright State after spending three seasons at nearby Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
"We are very excited to add Edecia to our team," Hoffman said. "She brings physicality and grit, and will add depth to our team in the right way. We are very thankful it has worked out for her to join us here at Wright State."
During her freshman season, the Grand Rapids, Michigan native appeared in 35 games, averaging 12.3 minutes per contest and adding 3.2 points per game. The 2019-20 season saw Beck appear in 30 games, averaging 15.4 minutes and 3.3 points per game, including a career-best 12 points at Central Michigan.
