Megan Alders finished with a match-high 10 kills, including seven through the first two sets, while Celia Powers and Grace Hauck each tallied eight blocks and Hauck added a match-leading three blocks. Jenna Story, who finished inside the top 20 nationally in total digs last season, led all players with 17 digs, while Powers (14) and Lainey Stephenson (11) also were in double-digits in the category as the trio combined for 42 of Wright State's 64 total digs.

The Raiders tallied seven aces from six different players, with Stephenson the only player on either side to record multiple, while she also passed out 29 of the 41 total Wright State assists in the sweep.

SET 1
Canisius tallied four of the first six points of the set, but Wright State answered with a 10-2 run to take a lead and never trailed again in the three-setter. Alders, Baker and Powers combined to give the Raiders the lead. Later in the set, Wright State rolled off a 7-1 run to push the advantage to 19-8 behind three kills from Powers, a pair from Alders and another from Hauck. Back-to-back Baker kills pushed the Raider lead to 23-12 and a pair of Canisius attacking errors wrapped up the opening set.

SET 2
The Raiders jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead in the second set behind kills from Hauck and Powers, along with a service ace from Stephenson, while Canisius held the score within arms' length for most of the set. Up four at the halfway point of the set, Wright State rolled off a 6-1 run to push the advantage to 20-11 behind a pair of kills from Hauck, one from Stephenson and a service ace from Jenny Morey. After the two sides traded scores to get the Raiders to set point, Canisius tallied three straight points to pull the eventual final set score closer before a service error ended the set at 25-19.

SET 3
Similar to the second set, the third set score remained close early before a 7-2 Raider run at the midway point pushed the advantage to 16-9 behind kills from Sam Ott, Alders, Hauck and Powers. After a Canisius run pulled the margin to five, the Raiders once again gained breathing room on back-to-back Alders kills to make it 19-14. Wright State wrapped the afternoon up with a pair of final kills from Ott and Powers to complete the sweep.
