
Transfer Makira Webster joins Women's Basketball program

Wright State women's basketball head coach Kari Hoffman announced the addition of transfer Makira Webster to join the Raiders for the 2021-22 season on Wednesday afternoon.
Webster, a 5'7" guard, comes to Wright State after spending two years at Wabash Community College in Mount Carmel, Illinois.
"We are super excited to have Makira join our family," Hoffman said. "She will bring energy, passion, and depth at the point guard position that we are ecstatic about."
The Sidney, Ohio and Kettering Fairmont product appeared in 20 games for the Warriors last season, averaging 3.1 minutes per game, 2.3 points per game, and a field goal percentage of 43.2. Webster tallied a three point shooting percentage of 38.1 and a 43.8 free throw percentage.
