UIC finished spring 2021 with a 14-6 overall record and a 13-1 Horizon League mark. The Raiders and Flames did not meet during the regular season, but did meet in the HL Championship match inside McLin that sent Wright State to its second straight NCAA Championship.

Wright State won both meetings this spring to begin the shortened season, and have won three straight overall in the series.
-Green Bay is 2-1 in Horizon League play to date, opening with wins of Purdue Fort Wayne and IUPUI before falling at UIC on Tuesday night. The Phoenix are 7-8 overall, but only 1-3 at home so far this season.
