
Women’s Basketball returns home for two conference contests

The Wright State women's basketball team returns to the Nutter Center to host a pair of Horizon League opponents this weekend. The Raiders welcome the conference's top-seeded team in Youngstown State on Friday, January 7 at 6 p.m. and follow with a 2 p.m. matchup against Robert Morris on Sunday, January 9. Both games will televise on ESPN+.

Last weekend, Wright State fell on the road to Dayton and IUPUI. The Raiders trailed Dayton 61-60 with just six minutes remaining, but the Flyers closed the non-conference finale on a 14-5 run to clinch a 75-65 victory. IUPUI led wire-to-wire versus WSU en route to a 77-62 final score.
Jada Roberson stood out for the Raiders over the two-game stretch, averaging 18.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 steals, and 1.0 blocks. Against UD, she reached career-high marks in points (20) and blocks (2) while adding a season-best seven rebounds, four steals, and two assists. The Muskegon, Mich. native notched a team-leading 17 points and three steals at IUPUI. Jada Wright paced the frontcourt against the Jaguars with a bench-high 13 points, seven rebounds, and one block.
