Nolan earns #HLTF Women’s Runner of the Week

Nolan set a school record in the mile and won the 1,000-meter run at the Steemer Showcase
INDIANAPOLIS — Wright State's Shelby Nolan was named the Horizon League Women's Runner of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday.Â
Nolan set a school record and added a first-place finish at the Steemer Showcase for the Raiders. The Whitehouse, Ohio native raced to a runner-up time of 4:55.29 in the mile, surpassing her previous record mark of 4:58.49 set last season. The graduate student went on to win the 1,000-meter run, crossing the finish line at 2:57.50. The victory was Nolan's third of the indoor season.Â
The Raiders will continue their season at the Ashland Open from February 4-5.
