The Raiders closed their regular-season road schedule with losses to Robert Morris and Youngstown State. Jada Roberson scored a career-high 27 points on 11-of-20 shooting to go along with eight rebounds and one steal at RMU (2/18). Trailing 28-27 at halftime, the Colonials broke away after outscoring the Raiders 20-6 in the third quarter. Against the Penguins (2/20), Wright State turned the ball over a season-low seven times while recording eight steals and four blocks defensively. However, YSU led the entirety of the game to remain first place in the Horizon League.
Wright has totaled 40 blocks in 18 games, good for the sixth-most in single-season school history. She is four blocks away from surpassing '02 graduate Robyn Swain into fifth in the record book. Richelle van Der Keijl currently holds the single-season block record, as she finished with 80 during the 2015-16 campaign.
Over Roberson's last 17 games, she has averaged a team-best 14.7 points on 40.4% shooting (101-of-250) to go along with 6.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 2.2 steals. In the span, the Muskegon, Mich., native has achieved single-game career highs in points (27 at RMU), assists (7 vs. Lake Erie), and blocks (2 at Dayton). On the season, Roberson leads the Raiders in points per game (13.8), offensive rebounds per game (2.9), assists per game (2.7), and steals per game (2.5).
