Women’s Basketball adds three transfers for 2022-23 season

DAYTON — Wright State women's basketball head coach Kari Hoffman has announced the addition of three transfers for the upcoming 2022-23 season.

Rachel Loobie
Indianapolis, IN
Franklin Central HS (Central Michigan)
6-1 | Forward
Highlights
• Appeared in 23 games over two seasons for the Central Michigan women's basketball team
• Poured in a collegiate-high six points in win against Western Michigan (12/9/20)
• Grabbed a career-best seven rebounds versus Eastern Michigan (1/20/21)
• Helped Chippewas to a Mid-American Conference Championship and NCAA Tournament berth as a freshman
• Four-time all-state selection at Franklin Central High School in Indianapolis
• Finished high school career as the Flashes' all-time leading rebounder (773) and second on the all-time scoring list (1,396)
• Averaged 20.1 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.2 blocks per game as a senior
• Earned a spot on the IBCA Supreme 15 Senior team in 2020

• Named G-MAC Freshman of the Year after averaging 10.0 points and 4.4 rebounds per game during the 2019-20 season
• Two-time NCCAA Scholar-Athlete and G-MAC Academic Team selection
• All-time leading scorer at Cedarville High School
• Four-time all-conference honoree and two-time all-state selection
• Averaged 20.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per game as a senior

• Two-time First Team all-conference selection
• Led team with 15.9 points and 2.6 assists per game, while shooting 45-percent from the field and 44-percent from outside the arc as a senior
• Shot 88-percent from the free throw line during 2021-22 season, good for the second-highest mark in single-season school history
• McDonald's All-American nominee at Fairland High School
• Three-time member of the AP All-District 13 First Team
• Earned District 13 Player of the Year in 2018
