DAYTON – The Wright State volleyball team will play for its fourth Horizon League Championship in the last five years on Sunday afternoon after the top-seeded Raiders swept No. 6 Cleveland State in Saturday's semifinals in McLin Gymnasium.
The Raiders will take on the winner of Saturday's second match, No. 2 Green Bay or No. 4 Northern Kentucky, in Sunday's championship. The championship will begin at 2 p.m. in McLin Gymnasium, and fans can follow the action via live stats or by watching on ESPN+.

On Saturday, Wright State (20-10) hit .456 as a group in the sweep and committed just three hitting errors while collecting 50 kills. Horizon League Player of the Year
Callie Martin logged five kills in the opening set on the way to a match-best 15 kills on a .556 hitting percentage, while
Sam Ott also had double-digit kills, finishing with 14 kills as she just missed a double-double with nine digs.
Megan Alders added nine kills,
Reilly Zegunis had seven kills and
Aaliyah Byers chipped in five kills.
Horizon League Setter of the Year
Katie Meyer passed out 39 of the Raiders' 44 assists while collecting nine digs, as
Jenny Wessling had a match-high 16 digs and
Jenny Morey finished with 11 digs. Morey recorded three service aces and Wessling added two of her own as the pair accounted for all five Wright State service aces.
SET ONE
Wright State tallied the first five points and eight of the first nine overall to set the tone for the afternoon. The Raiders later added nine straight points in the middle of the set to stretch the margin to 21-6 before closing with back-to-back kills from Ott for the 25-9 set score.
SET TWO
The Raiders again started strong, this time with six of the first seven points, before later having two different four-point stretches as Wright State didn't commit a hitting error in the set. After Cleveland State strung together a 6-2 run to pull within nine, Ott again ended the set with a kill for a 25-15 set win.
SET THREE
The most competitive set of the afternoon, the third set was tied seven times and as deep into the set as 17-all before the Raiders closed the match in style with eight of the final nine points, including the final six straight, to complete the sweep behind four kills from Martin and a pair from Zegunis.
