DAYTON - The Wright State men's basketball team returns home to the Nutter Center to begin a four-game homestand on Thursday night as the Raiders welcome Bethel to town for a 7 p.m. tip. Fans can follow the action several ways - via live stats, by watching on ESPN+ or by tuning in to the new home for Raider Basketball 101.5 HANK FM and WING 1410 AM. Chris Collins and Jim Brown will have all the play-by-play on the both the ESPN and radio feeds.

AJ Braun turned in 13 of his 16 points in the first half as the Raiders fell 82-73 at Davidson on Saturday afternoon. The Raiders led for over 10 minutes in a back-and-forth first half that saw Davidson take a 43-39 advantage into the break. Wright State opened the second half with a 13-9 run over the first four minutes to pull even at 52-all, but the hosts responded with 13 of the next 15 to push the advantage to double digits with 12 minutes to play. Braun was a perfect 6-for-6 in the opening half, scoring 13 of the Raiders' first 22 points before being limited with foul trouble.
Trey Calvin scored nine of his team-high 17 points in the second half, while
Tanner Holden chipped in eight of his 14 points in the final 20 minutes.
Brandon Noel was the final Raider in double digits, finishing with 11 points (nine in the second half) while adding a team-high six rebounds.

Drey Carter was named the Horizon League Freshman of the Week on Dec. 4 after a career-best 12 points and seven rebounds, while adding three assists, in Wright State's Horizon League opening win against IUPUI on Nov. 29 before adding five points and three rebounds at Davidson on Dec. 2. Carter played 16 minutes in both contests last week, connecting at 55 percent from the floor with a 46 percent mark from the free throw stripe. He was 5-of-7 from the floor with a pair of free throws in the Wednesday win over IUPUI, evenly splitting his seven rebounds with four on the offensive glass and three on the defensive end, while adding the three assists to his first-ever double-digit scoring output. Against Davidson, he added three rebounds and a pair of steals to his five-point effort off the bench.

Bethel is 7-2 on the season entering Thursday's contest. An NAIA program, Bethel is receiving votes in the latest NAIA national polls, while its two losses came at Oregon Tech (receiving votes) back on Nov. 3 and in its last outing, Dec. 2, at No. 9 Indiana Wesleyan.
-Bethel won the NCCAA National Championship last spring and fell in the first round of the NAIA tournament.
-Bethel is averaging 89.2 points per game and shooting 51.5 percent overall from the floor while connecting at a 34.6 percent rate from three-point range. Individually, four players are averaging double-digit scoring outputs, paced by Dew Lutz at 24.7 points/game. Nathan Aerts (14.3), Preston Phillips (11.6) and James Anderson (10.2) are also over 10-plus points a night scoring.
-Phillips' 6.6 rebounds/game leads the way, while Anderson averages 5.7 boards per contest.
WELCOME HOME
After playing six of its first eight contests away from home (three true road contests, three games at Gulf Coast Showcase) the Raiders finally return home for an extended period and will play their next four games at home ahead of the holiday break to close out the remainder of the non-conference schedule.
ON THE HORIZON
Wright State's 81.4 points per game scoring average is currently second in the Horizon League, while the 50.7 overall shooting percentage leads the HL and the 36.7 percent three-point shooting number is also second in the League.
