DAYTON - The Wright State men's basketball team begins its postseason journey with a Tuesday night home game as the Raiders open the 2023 Barbasol Horizon League Championship with a first round matchup against Green Bay. Wright State is the seventh seed for the tournament while Green Bay is the No. 10 seed. Tuesday night's winner will go on the road for a Thursday quarterfinal matchup. Tuesday's tipoff is set for 7 p.m. inside the Nutter Center.
Fans can follow the action several ways - via live stats, by watching on ESPN+ or by tuning in on WONE 980 AM. Chris Collins and Jim Brown will have all the play-by-play on the ESPN+ feed, while Scott Leo and Justin Kinner will have the call on the radio feed.
Raider season ticket holders can log into their online account to pay for their tickets now. The deadline to purchase before season ticket holder seat locations are opened to the general public will be Monday, February 27 at 5 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Trey Calvin finished with a game-high 34 points to lead three Raiders in double figures as Wright State closed the regular season with an 82-71 road win at Detroit Mercy on Saturday afternoon.
AJ Braun tallied 13 points and
Alex Huibregtse added 11 points while tying a career-high with six rebounds.
Tim Finke (seven points) and
Brandon Noel (two points) each also grabbed six rebounds.

Green Bay enters the postseason 3-28 overall with six straight losses. The Phoenix are 1-18 in games away from home this season. Wright State swept the season series, with
Brandon Noel's 32 points leading to a 99-67 win on the road in Wisconsin before three Raiders finished in double figures, led by
Trey Calvin's 18 points, in the 77-46 homecoming win inside the Nutter Center. Wright State has won 13 of the last 15 meetings overall in the series.The first meeting came back on December 7, 1987, a Green Bay victory in the Raiders' first year as a Division I program. A tight series throughout history, Wright State now has a slim, 38-33 overall series lead.
PHOENIX RISING
-Green Bay is 3-28 overall and finished with a 2-18 Horizon League record.
-The Phoenix have played 19 total games away from home, including 17 true road contests, going a combined 1-18 in those games (2-10 at home).
-Green Bay parted ways with head coach Will Ryan after two and a half seasons in late January, with interim head coach Freddie Owens' biggest win coming just four games into his tenure when the Phoenix beat Milwaukee on the road, 80-79 in overtime.

Trey Calvin has recorded 20 or more points 17 times this year - including 10 of the last 12 contests. Calvin now has 24 performances of 20-plus points in his career with four 30-plus point performances this season, including a career-high 44 points at Youngstown State on Feb. 2.
DOUBLING DOWN
Brandon Noel's 10 double-doubles to date are the third-most the Horizon League, while Noel has tallied a HL-best eight double-doubles in League play. Noel has recorded double figures scoring 21 times with six games of 20-plus points. On the glass, he has the 12 double-digit rebound games and has five-plus rebounds in 27 contests.
HELLO HUIBREGTSE
Alex Huibregtse has tallied five-plus points in 22 contests overall, with double figures in seven Horizon League games and 12 total double figure games to date. After being limited to just three games last season, Huibregtse has played in all 31 games, with 20-plus minutes in 24 contests, including in 19 of the last 21. Huibregtse has connected on at least one three-pointer in 26 contests, adding multiple rebounds in 19 games, including a career-best six rebounds three times - the win at Louisville, his first start of the season against Milwaukee on Jan. 26 and Feb. 25 at Detroit Mercy.
