KANSAS CITY/DAYTON – Wright State's Trey Calvin has been recognized by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) as an all-district performer, as the organization announced Tuesday the 2022-23 NABC Division I All-District teams and coaches.
The All-District honors are voted on by NABC-member coaches across NCAA Division I.
Calvin averaged 20.3 points per game this season for the Raiders on the way to a Horizon League first team recognition, shooting 49.2 percent overall from the floor while scoring 20 or more points 18 times this year. Calvin, who announced Monday he is returning to Wright State next season for a fifth year, has scored 20-plus points 25 times throughout the course of his career and has added four 30-point games – all coming in 2022-23 – along with a career-best 44 points against Youngstown State on February 2. He became the 37th member of the Wright State 1,000-point club on December 1 against Robert Morris and is currently the No. 10 all-time leading scorer in program history with 1,532 career points.
In addition to the Horizon League and NABC recognitions, Calvin has also been named to CBB Review's Horizon League first team and was an HL all-conference selection by HoopsHD.
