PEORIA, IL/BOWLING GREEN, OH – The Wright State cross country teams had a busy Friday, with Raider men's teams in action at both the Bradley Pink Classic and the Falcon Invitational, while the Wright State women also competed at the Falcon Invitational.

The Wright State rosters will be in action again next Friday as the Raiders race in the Wild Bill Invite home meet at Fairborn Community Park.

Bradley Pink Classic
The Raider men competed in a pair of races at the Bradley Pink Classic, seeing four finishers inside the Top 75 in the 8K white race that featured 171 participants from 18 schools and then adding three finishers inside the Top 150 in the 8K red race that featured 265 participants from 29 schools.

In the white race, the Raiders were paced by Michael Gale's time of 26:23.52 as he finished in 50th place, followed closely by Reece Page in 57th with a 26:35.55 mark. Jacob Craig (60th) was stride-for-stride with Page, grabbing a 26:42.09 time of his own, with Matthew Lee (72nd, 27:00.51) and Bryce Page (109th, 28:08.64) rounded out the five Raider roundup.

In the red race, the Raiders were paced by Evan McPherson with his time of 25:13.22 as he finished in 119th place, followed closely Blake Rodgers in 121st with a 25:14.93 mark. Patrick Statzer (146), grabbed a 25:27.12 time, with Preston Jackson (155th, 25:29.37) and Andrew Bugner (183rd, 25:45.86) close behind. Ethan Neblock (189th, 25:51.38), Ian Ricker (222nd, 26:24.70), Kalib Tolle (236th, 26:40.0) and Ben Schrumpf (251st, 27:07.0) rounded out the Raiders.

Falcon Invitational
The Wright State women finished 11th in their 6K race at the Falcon Invitational with two runners placing inside the Top 75. The women's race featured 131 participants from 15 schools, with 16 Raiders competing. Only four Raiders competed in the men's 8K race, not resulting in a team qualifying score, but a pair of Raiders finished inside the Top 70 in a race that saw 99 participants from 14 schools.

In the women's race, the Raiders were paced by Emma Johnson's time of 22:35.7 to finish in 31st place. Reece Barnitz finished 66th with a 23:51.3 mark, followed closely by Anna Johnson (81st) with a 24:09.2 time of her own. Ella Lambert (82nd, 24:13.3) and Kaitlin Thomas (84th, 24:18.0) rounded out the five Raider roundup.

Nathan Sheriff paced the small Raider men's group, finishing 51st with a 27:18.5 mark, followed by Logan Eggert in 69th at 28:15.2. Alex Combs (92, 31:24.1) and Curtis Fowler (93, 31:24.4) also competed for Wright State.
