New Castle, DE – The Wright State bowling team rolled three best-of-seven baker matches to finish the Northeast Classic on Sunday, grabbing a pair of head-to-head wins before dropping its final match to finish the tournament 12th in the loaded, 38-team field.
 
The Raiders opened the day with a four-game win over (RV) Valparaiso in their first best-of-seven baker match, following that up with a win over No. 21 UAB in six games, winning the final two sets to grab victory. Wright State wrapped up the weekend falling to No. 12 Louisiana Tech in six games.

Next up for the Raiders will be tournament action at the Columbia 300 Saints Invite in two weeks, with tournament action running January 31-February 2 in Missouri.
