Raider Bowling opens 2025-26 season this weekend

DAYTON -Â The Wright State bowling team opens its 2025-26 season with two days of action on the way from the Mercyhurst Invitational on Saturday and Sunday as the Raiders begin their first season as Conference USA members.

Completion at the Mercyhurst Invitational at Rolling Meadow Lanes in Erie, Pennsylvania kicks off Saturday morning begins at 10 a.m. and features five traditional team games before Sunday action begins at 9 a.m. and features four Baker games. The Raiders will be represented Kylie Fisher, Emma Hatfield, Rylie Jeanneret, Addy Meshew, Dottie Sayles, Mia Sayles, Jasmine Schulze and Alli Shattuck in Pennsylvania.

Wright State returns to Pennsylvania and the Mercyhurst Invitational as the reigning tournament champions after the Raiders went 7-3 over the course of the weekend last season. Jeanneret led the Raiders individually last October, finishing sixth overall with a 200.60 average and a 1,003 pinfall total in five games. Addy Meshew finished 23rd and Alli Shattuck was 30th a season ago, each bowling in four games, with Meshew averaging a 219.75 with 879 total pins and Shattuck turning in a 190.25 average with 761 total pins.
