MOON TOWNSHIP, PA – The Wright State volleyball team saw three players collect 10-plus kills as two Raiders had double-doubles, but it wasn't enough as the Raiders fell in four sets at Robert Morris on Friday night.
Wright State (15-9, 9-4 Horizon) is now tied for second place in the Horizon League standings with IU Indy, who won on Friday night. The Raiders hold the season tiebreaker over IU Indy.

Robert Morris (8-16, 4-9 Horizon) took the first two sets 25-21 and 26-24 before the Raiders rallied back for a convincing 25-15 third set win, only to see set four played tightly again before RMU tallied a 26-24 set win to seal the win. Wright State finished the night hitting just .185 as a group with 55 kills to go along with 22 attacking errors, while Robert Morris hit only .181 overall with 59 kills and 26 errors but the hosts finished with 13 blocks at the net.
Elena Dubuc led Wright State with 14 kills while both
Katie Sowko and
Lauren Yacobucci turned in double-doubles, with Sowko notching 13 kills and 12 digs as Yacobucci passed out 47 of the Raiders' 51 assists to go along with 11 digs.
Taylor Bransfield also finished with double-digit kills with 10, adding four blocks, while
Reilly Zegunis had eight kills and six blocks and
Ella Seeger chipped in eight kills of her own to go with five blocks.
Taygan Corstange and
Ella Gaona each notched 17 digs on the backline for Wright State as
Greta McKee added nine digs.
Natalie Stepanovich led RMU with 19 kills and 22 digs in the win, while Jocelyn Jourdan added 15 kills and 11 digs for her own double-double. Jasmine Purakal had a match-best 31 digs for the hosts and Kailyn Brown passed out 48 assists in the win.
