DAYTON- The Wright State women's soccer team remains undefeated in Horizon League play with a 1-1 draw against Youngstown State Saturday Night at Alumni Field.

Wright State (6-5-2, 3-0-2) will kick off a three-game road trip as they travel north on October 12 to face Cleveland State. First touch in Cleveland is set for 1 p.m. The road trip also includes stops in Green Bay on October 16 and Milwaukee on October 19.

Youngstown State controlled the pace of play for the majority of the first half and broke open the scoring in the 13
th minute. Sara Felder sent a shot in a shot from outside the box that went past an outstretched Sarka.

The Penguins held a 1-0 advantage until the 60
th minute when the Raiders found an equalizer.
Ruby Dunlevy dribbled the ball up the left wing and sent a beautiful cross into the box that found the head of
Mariella Hartmann at the back post, who sent a header into the back of the net.

With the draw, the Raiders are undefeated through the first five games of the Horizon League season since 2016, when they went 4-0-1 with wins over Green Bay, Cleveland State, Youngstown State, and Valparaiso, plus a draw with Detroit Mercy.

In the box score, the Raiders led the Penguins in shots (17-12), trailed in shots on goal (5-6), and were even on corner kicks at four apiece. Dunlevy led Wright State in shots with four, and five different Raiders fired shots on goal.
Kiera Sarka and
Leigha Lauer both saw action between the posts, with each playing 45 minutes and combining for five saves.
Kaitlyn Eyink was the lone Raider to play all 90 minutes.
