DAYTON- The Wright State women's basketball team fell 76-83 in overtime to Bellarmine on Wednesday.

The Raiders welcomed 6,192 fans into the Nutter Center, the second-largest crowd in program history. As students came to the Nutter Center from over 30 local schools.

Wright State (3-2) will wrap up its four-game home stand on Saturday, November 22, as IU East visits the Nutter Center. Tip-off is set for 12 p.m., and fans are encouraged to bring new youth winter clothes to donate to the Student Athlete Advisory Committee clothing drive.

Breezie Williams (18),
Rylee Sagester (16), and
Claire Henson (13) all finished with double-digit points for the Raiders. Henson led the team with 12 rebounds en route to her first double-double of the season.
Chloe Chard Peloquin also snagged double-digit rebounds with 11. Williams and Henson tied for the team lead in assists with four.

Wright State started the game hot, building a nine-point lead in the middle of the first quarter and holding a four-point advantage after the first 10 minutes of play.

Bellarmine would outscore the Raiders by five in the second quarter to hold a one-point advantage going into the halftime break. Williams led all players at the break with 10 points and four made field goals.

The two teams would battle back and forth in the second half, with Bellarmine jumping out to an eight-point lead with 8:31 left in the fourth quarter, its largest lead of the game. The Raiders would go on to score nine straight points and take a one-point lead with 6:41 remaining in the game. Â The game was tied at 66 with 1:48 to go. Ashlee Harris would give Bellarmine a two-point lead with just 8 seconds to go before Henson matched it with a jumper of her own to send the game to overtime, tied at 68.

Bellarmine would outscore the raiders 15-8 in the overtime period to earn its second win of the season and second win over Wright State in the last two years.
