DAYTON — The Wright State track and field programs released its 2025-26 indoor and outdoor schedules on Wednesday.
The indoor slate features 10 regular season meets, culminated by the Horizon League Indoor Championships hosted by Youngstown State on February 28 and March 1, while the outdoor schedule begins in mid-March and features eight regular season meets before the Horizon League Outdoor Championships May 8-10 at Oakland.
Wright State will open the indoor season with a pair of meets next weekend, first at the GVSU Holiday Open on December 5 before a short trip to the Wittenberg-hosted Tiger Opener on December 6. After a holiday break, the Raiders return to action at the Mastodon Invitational on January 17, followed by a pair of meets on January 23 – the Bellarmine Classic in Louisville and the Cedarville Collegiate Invite.
The Raiders will compete at the Steemer Showcase (January 31) and Wittenberg Invite (February 21), both in Springfield at Wittenberg, along with February action at the Jud Logan Light Giver Open (Feb. 6 and 7) and the Doug Raymond Invitational and GVSU Big Meet, both February 13-14. The 2025-26 Horizon League Indoor Championship is February 28-March 1 in Youngstown.
Outdoor competition gets underway on March 19-21 with the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational down in South Carolina before the Yellow Jacket Open (March 28, Cedarville) and the Cherry Blossom Invitational (April 3, Ohio U.). Mid-April is packed, with the Raiders competing at the Jim Vargo Invitational (April 10, Bellarmine) the Bison Outdoor Classic (April 11, Bucknell) before the Otterbein Twilight on April 17. Wright State wraps up spring action with the Ashland Alumni Open (April 25) and May 1-2 at the Ohio State-hosted Jesse Owens Classic before the Horizon League Outdoor Championships takes place May 8-10 at Oakland. NCAA Preliminary action is slated for May 27-30 in Lexington, Kentucky.
