Raiders finish second for season, notch multiple OBC season awards

COLUMBUS – The Wright State bowling team finished fifth in the Ohio Bowling Conference's Event 4 at Columbus Square Bowling Palace on Saturday, wrapping up the OBC season as runners-up for the year.
 
Jada Baker received the Newcomer of the Year award and was named conference MVP while also being named to the all-rookie team and all-conference first team. Baker also had the high four-game series for the conference. Addy Meshew earned second team OBC honors, while Emma Hatfield was given the Character Award for Wright State.
 
The Raiders tallied 4,904 total pins on Saturday for a 175 average, 31 pins behind Robert Morris for a top four-finish.

Wright State wraps up weekend action with its other Raider group at the Flyer Classic on Sunday before getting back into competition February 15 and 16 at the Hoosier Classic in Indianapolis.
