Women’s Basketball Adds Breezie Williams for 2025-26 Season

DAYTON – Wright State women's basketball head coach Kari Hoffman has announced the addition of transfer Breezie Williams, who will join the Raiders for the 2025-26 season.
 
Williams, a senior guard from Canton, Ohio, comes to Wright State after spending the 2024-25 season at Bryant University. She began her collegiate career at the University of New Hampshire.
 
"Breezie is a dynamic point guard who can score at all levels," said Hoffman. "We are really excited for her to join the squad."
 
Last season, Williams appeared in 28 games with 25 starts for Bryant, averaging 27.6 minutes per game. She posted a 37.9% field goal percentage and shot 31.3% from beyond the arc. Williams reached double figures in 10 games, including two 20-plus-point performances, and averaged 9.6 points per game. She recorded at least one assist in 26 contests, notching a season-high five assists on two occasions, most recently against Binghamton on March 6. She had 11 multi-assist games.
 
Williams began her collegiate career at New Hampshire, where she played in and started all but one game as a freshman. She was named to the America East All-Rookie Team, earned multiple weekly honors, and ranked among the conference leaders in steals and assists. In two seasons at UNH, she shot 36.9% from the field and averaged 8.6 points per game. As a sophomore, she led the team with 202 total points and averaged 7.6 points per game.
 
A product of GlenOak High School, Williams also played for the Ohio Xtreme club team, winning a national championship with her AAU squad. She was named Second Team All-Ohio Division I, First Team Northeast Inland, First Team District 4, and was honored as a Bluestar National Top 30 All-Star.
