FAIRBORN/INDIANAPOLIS- Timmy Hollenbeck and Shane Ochs earned Co-Golfer of the Year honors and Conner Lash was recognized as the League's Coach of the Year in the annual Horizon League men's golf awards.
Hollenbeck backs up his Freshman of the Year honors last year with a share of the League's top golfer honor with his junior teammate. Hollenbeck owns a 72.8 scoring average through 28 rounds this year and owns individual titles at the Wright State Invitational and the Golden Grizzlies Intercollegiate. He took fourth place at the Horizon League Championship, helping the Raiders capture the team title.
Ochs matched Hollenbeck with a 72.8 scoring average over 31 competitive rounds. Ochs has three top-three finishes on the year, finishing runner-up at the Horizon League Championship, NKU Jewell Invite, and the Golden Grizzlies Intercollegiate. His three-under 69 in the final round of the Horizon League Championship matched the low round for the tournament. In addition to being named Co-Golfers of the Year, both Hollenbeck and Ochs were named to the League's First Team.
Lash earns back-to-back Coach of the Year honors and his third overall. He and Fred Jefferson are the only Raider coaches to earn the honor multiple times. Lash trails Jefferson by one after he earned the honor in 1996, 97, 2000, and 2003.
Wright State took home its ninth Horizon League title and will represent the league in the NCAA Division-I men's golf tournament. The 2025 NCAA Regional selection show will be on Wednesday, April 30th at 1 p.m. and will air on the Golf Channel.
