Hollenbeck, Ochs named to Horizon League All-Academic Team

DAYTON/INDIANAPOLIS – The Horizon League released its 2025 Men's Golf All-Academic Team on Monday, recognizing student-athletes for their success both in competition and in the classroom. Wright State's Timmy Hollenbeck and Shane Ochs were among the seven student-athletes who were honored in balloting by the League's faculty athletics representatives.

In addition to their work in the classroom, Hollenbeck and Ochs were named Horizon League Co-Golfers of the Year in late April.

Hollenbeck owns a 72.8 scoring average over 28 rounds entering the NCAA Regional, winning two events during the season, taking titles at the Wright State Invitational and the Golden Grizzlies Intercollegiate. He also finished top-10 at Dayton Flyer Invitational and at the Horizon League Championship. Ochs has a 72.8 scoring average over 31 rounds going into the NCAA Regional, with three top-3 finishes on the season, grabbing the runner-up slot at The Jewell and the Golden Grizzlies Invite and a third-place finish at the Horizon League Championship. He added a pair of top-20 finishes, including a 19th (of 85) at the Golfweek Challenge

Hollenbeck and Ochs are currently in the middle of competition with their Raider teammates at the NCAA Urbana Regional this week after helping Wright State capture its ninth Horizon League Championship last month.
