Flynn jumps up leaderboard, paces Raiders at NCAA Regional

URBANA, IL – The Wright State golf team moved two spots up the team leaderboard and four Raiders climbed the individual standings on Tuesday's second round of the 2025 Urbana Regional. Wright State enters Wednesday's final round 11th as a group with Andrew Flynn tied for 24th individually.

Final round action gets underway at 9 a.m. ET, with the Raiders on the course beginning at 10:28 a.m. with Timmy Hollenbeck, followed by Brock Rumpke (10:39 a.m.), Adam Horn (10:50 a.m.), Shane Ochs (11:01 a.m.) and Flynn (11:12 a.m.). The Raiders moved up two spots to 11th in the team standings after carding a 286 as a group on Tuesday and are currently at 17-over overall.

Flynn jumped up 33 spots in his second round into a tie for 24th and leads the Wright State pack at one-over through 36 holes. On Tuesday, Flynn carded five birdies against just one bogey on the way to a four-under second round 67. Shane Ochs sits tied for 41st a couple shots back of Flynn at four-over following a three-over 74 with a pair of birdies, three bogeys and a double bogey on the 18th hole.

Adam Horn is tied for 55th at seven-over overall after his four-over 75 on Tuesday, finishing with four bogeys and 14 pars in his second round. Brock Rumpke jumped nine spots on the leaderboard following his one-over 72, beginning his day with three straight birdies before finishing his second round with five total birdies, four bogeys and a double bogey on the par-five, 559-yard sixth hole. Rumpke enters Wednesday eight-over for the tournament in a tie for 61st. Timmy Hollenbeck notched a two-over second round 73 to also sit tied for 61st at eight-over through 36 holes, finishing Tuesday with a pair of birdies and a trio of bogeys.
