URBANA, IL – The Wright State golf team concluded its 2024-25 campaign on Wednesday afternoon with the final round of the 2025 NCAA Urbana Regional, with the Raiders finishing the tournament in 12th as a group at 24-over as
Shane Ochs led the way individually in a tie for 27th.
Wednesday capped another successful season for the Raiders, who captured their ninth Horizon League Championship in Florida last month, the second-most all-time in the Horizon, while Wright State has now won four team HL championships in the last six seasons with a pair of second-place finishes in the two other years. The Raiders finished with six top-five finishes in 12 total tournaments this season spanning the fall and spring schedule, highlighted by three-straight team titles in April – at The Jewell, Wright State Invitational and Horizon League Championship.
Timmy Hollenbeck and Ochs earned Horizon League Co-Golfer of the Year honors and
Conner Lash was recognized as the League's Coach of the Year, with Hollenbeck and Ochs both also named to the seven-member HL Golf All-Academic Team.
The final round on Wednesday saw Wright State card a seven-over 291 as a group. Ochs jumped up 14 spots on the individual leaderboard and fine following his final round two-under 69, notching four birdies, all over his final nine holes of the season, to go with a pair of bogeys.
Andrew Flynn finished his Raider career tied for 38th at four-over for the regional following his final round three-over 74 with four birdies, four bogeys and a triple bogey.
Timmy Hollenbeck jumped 15 spots Wednesday thanks to his one-under final round 70 to finish seven-over for the week in a tie for 46th, tallying a pair of eagles to go along with three birdies, four bogeys and a double bogey.
Adam Horn finished tied for 65th at 14-over overall after a final round seven-over 78 and
Brock Rumpke finished his Raider career in a tie for 70th at 18-over for the regional after his final round 10-over 81.
